Benoît Guenot is a Parisian photojournalist and apprentice winegrower who seeks to tell the life story of those who catch his attention. This former globetrotter used to document injustices and social struggles around the world before discovering a real passion for vineyards and winegrowers.
Nowadays, he works with various estates, in the Bordeaux region and elsewhere (Château La Fleur-Pétrus, Château Lafite Rothschild, Domaine Armand Rousseau, etc.), while pursuing personal and group projects, including the half-magazine, half-art book Fusées, released in 2020.
For Culture Cognac, he wandered all over Cognac with his camera, selecting places that stand as a testimony to the town and spirit’s vast history while showcasing its creative energy. He also took part in a tasting workshop with sommelier Oriane Chambon and chef Cédric Coulaut, the duo behind the Expérience Sur Mesure culinary agency, who introduced him to Cognac-food pairings.
